Bags, accessories, decor, and sale.

All products are handcrafted in Portland, Maine, using high quality, reclaimed leather.

The bags you see in name-brand boutiques that run you thousands of dollars? These companies use machines to make their products - a single blemish on the hide makes it totally unusable. Instead of throwing it in the landfill, I buy that same hide and hand-make a beautiful piece, working around blemishes, adapting it for each design.

Reducing waste, invigorating local arts and manufacturing, creating a piece that will last you a lifetime. What's not to love?

Style meets craftsmanship.

No compromises here. We believe that beautiful things should not be disposable.

Raw Materials.

If you ask us, the final product is only as good as the raw materials you put in. Our leather comes from a shop in Maine that sources hides leftover from large commercial retailers, who are unable to use them in a mass-production capacity. The same hides that you would find in pieces three times the price, we adapt on a smaller scale in our workshop in Portland. As we handle each piece individually, we can cut around holes and blemishes that large-scale retailers are unable to, saving these otherwise perfect hides from ending up in a landfill.

Techniques to outlast everything.

Find any vintage leather item - trunk, knife sheath, mittens, you name it - and the craftsmanship is undeniable. We use the same techniques that were used 100 years ago, to ensure that our goods will be handed down for generations.

There's value in tradition. We punch each hole by hand, thread every needle, hand stitch every seam, and finish with beeswax to ensure that your goods remain both beautiful and utilitarian for years to come.
